Te Mata Peak - Trail edition

This 3D topographic map of Te Mata Peak is a highly detailed, raised-relief model designed to capture the beautiful landscape of Rongokako's final resting place. As a Hawke's Bay business we are particularly proud of this one. Te Mata Peak is a special place to all of us in the Bay, we hope you enjoy the finished product as much as we enjoyed making it.

Whether you’ve walked the tracks, parked at the summit and enjoyed the view, or simply love the region, this is a unique and beautiful way to display such a stunning piece of Aotearoa.

Our intention with these models is for them to be a reminder to people of their epic achievements, to take them back to moments in their lives that bring a sense of pride and accomplishment. For those of you who might not walk the trails but have a deep connection with these landscapes, I hope they bring you an abundance of happiness and a point of pride to your home.

Our favourite moments while prototyping came from those who had previously done these hikes or had a particular connection to the area. People would see these models and more often than not, dive into a detailed retelling of their experience, as they traced their steps and relived these memories. For some it had been decades since they had last walked these trails, and now they could again experience the mountains, valleys and vast wilderness that makes New Zealand an international destination. It’s all very well to see something on a screen, but it’s a different experience entirely when you can hold a physical rendition of a memory in your hands.

Epic achievements deserve epic recognition. We hope these models will stand not only as a proud testament to what you've accomplished, but also a beautiful piece of art you’re proud to display on your wall. 

Please note: these prints are not factory produced, each model takes 18-26 hours to print, and the tracks themselves are hand painted then sealed. Due to this, there could be slight variations between models.
