WHY CONSERVATION MATTERS

The landscapes behind every piece

Every Te Ara Terrains model begins with a real place.

The mountains, forests, coastlines and waterways of Aotearoa hold memories for us, but they are also living environments. They provide habitat for native species, support healthy ecosystems and form an important part of New Zealand's natural and cultural identity.

Our work is inspired by these places, so we believe it is right that every eligible model helps contribute to their care.

We set aside 10% from every framed model sold through our website to support conservation organisations working to protect and restore the natural environments of Aotearoa.

Our contribution totals and donation updates are published on this page so the commitment remains clear, measurable and accountable.
